  7. Johnny Castaway is the world's first story-telling, screen saver cartoon.  
  8. Sure, there are lots of screen savers out there, but you can only watch 
  9. fish and flying toasters for so long. Cast off with Johnny and sail into 
  10. an ocean  of off-the wall gags and knock-out animations!  Every time you 
  11. take a break, Johnny and his cast launch into hundreds of hilarious situations. 
  12. Will Johnny score with the tantalizing mermaid? Can our desert island hero 
  13. dodge the jaws of a castaway-eating shark? Will that passing party boat 
  14. toss Johnny a line or a lite?  Kick back for a minute and Johnny Castaway 
  15. floats into sight with a story that constantly twists and turns, bringing 
  16. wave after wave of screen-saving surprises to your computer screen.

  30. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  39. Installing the Screen Saver
  40. -----------------------------
  41. From Program Manager or Explorer, double click 
  42. on the Setup.exe that should be in the same directory as this readme 
  43. file.

  45. Once you complete the setup you can modify the settings for your 
  46. screen saver.

  48. For Windows 3.1 click on Main, Control Panel, Desktop.
  49. Under the Screen Saver menu choose Screen Antics.

  51. For Windows 95 click on START/SETTINGS/CONTROL PANEL/DISPLAY/Screen Saver
  52. Chose Screen Antics from the list under Screen Saver.

  54. After you are done installing you must restart Windows in order for the screen 
  55. saver to load.

  58. TROUBLESHOOTING
  59. -----------------------------
  60. Doesn't Fill the Entire Screen
  61. Screen Antics uses the 640x480 resolution and does not fill the entire screen 
  62. to begin with. On higher resolution systems, such as with 800x600 or 
  63. 1024x768 it will be even smaller.

  65. Insufficient Memory Message
  66. This usually means that a Swap File is not being used, or the Swap File is too small. 
  67. We recommend a Permanent Swap File at LEAST 2 MEG in size, or a Temporary Swap File 
  68. at least 3 MEG in size.
